While the hitch can be attached to almost any bike, some may require adapters. The axle hole diameter is 12.1mm, allowing a QR skewer, internal hub bolt, or 12mm thru axle to pass through. However, your original axle may not be long enough. To protect the thru axle bike frame, it is recommended to use an adapter. Adapters are available for quick release skewer bikes and 12mm thru axle bicycles in our store.

For those with old Thule bike trailers using the same ball-cup hitch system, the ODIER hitch is fully compatible. As for non-Thule brand bike trailers, a 360-degree rotatable hitch system is desired. This cup mount hitch is specifically designed for ball arm heads, so if you wish to switch to a ball-cup system, the arm side must also be changed to a ball connector.

The back up axle mount cup bike trailer hitch allows a second bike to tow the trailer without the hassle of constant installation and uninstallation. The "Cup Mount and Skewer" option includes an extra long titanium axle measuring 165mm, providing additional length compared to standard rear QR skewers for better compatibility with different bike drop out shapes.
